eKohs has gained recognition as an information technology consulting firm that delivers insightful solutions and beyond-expectation results. You can read highlights of some of our significant accomplishments below.

  • MCI selected eKohs* to become a protégé of the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Mentor-Protégé Program. Under the three-year program, MCI will serve as a mentor to eKohs, providing guidance in the areas of management, financial, technical, and marketing. Additionally, the DoD Mentor-Protégé Program is designed to assist eKohs in securing a Top Secret security clearance.

    Established in 1990, the Mentor-Protégé Program provides incentives for DoD’s prime contractors to help qualified small disadvantaged businesses and woman-owned small businesses to develop technical and business capabilities. Being selected by MCI for the DoD Mentor-Protégé Program is a significant milestone for eKohs and serves as momentum for continued growth.

  • The National Federation of Black Women Business Owners awards eKohs President and CEO, Deborah Lansdowne “Entrepreneur of the Year” during its Ninth Annual Awards and Scholarship Luncheon.
  • eKohs President and CEO, Deborah Lansdowne is named one of the “Fifty Influential Minorities in Business.”
  • eKohs President and CEO, Deborah Lansdowne is featured on the cover of Black Enterprise Magazine.
  • eKohs is certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council as a women and minority owned IT Consulting Company.
  • eKohs is certified by the Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (VMSDC). VMSDC is a regional Council member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
  • eKohs President and CEO, Deborah Lansdowne is named to the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
